Emer Water Ltd (part of the REL Group) have an opening for two Business Development Executives.

Focusing on the East Coast and South & South West of the country, the role will involve developing and expanding our Filtered Water Dispense and Professional Filter business initially targeting the HoReCa and FM Industries.

Responsibilities;

  • Achieve sales revenue targets.
  • Call to existing customers to maintain and cement relationships
  • Identify and secure new customers for extensive range of products
  • Identify commercial opportunities
  • Educate and demonstrate to customers the technical aspects of the products and ensure they are fully aware of their features & benefits.
  • Drive visibility and availability of the core range within all customers.
  • Introduce new products to customers and identify new channels and routes to market

The ideal candidate will have;

  • A proven track record in the HoReCa and FM Industries
  • A drive to achieve sales targets and expectation
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills – both verbal and written
  • A strong customer focus and drive

Graduate Mechanical Engineer

The graduate engineer will report to the Senior project engineer. The job functions will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • To work on tender packages, determining what materials are required, pricing the materials and estimating labour requirements. This will be done in conjunction with the purchasing and installation department.
  • To develop costing spreadsheets for the improved costing of projects and to reduce the time for these to be completed.
  • To assist with providing project management flow charts for tenders/projects won. This may include laying out a timeline for materials and labour as per the project quotation ensuring work can be carried out on time and within budget.
  • To liaise with our product research engineering team working based at IT Carlow, who are currently working on the upgrade and development of our existing glycol beer cooling system.
  • To help develop energy efficient solutions for customers, particularly in the heating side of our business. This will involve analysing existing installations and advising on better energy efficient solutions for the customer.
  • To produce design drawings where necessary using our in house Solidworks 3D & Autocad 2D package.
  • To assess the present company Health & safety documentation and develop same so that the company can achieve Safe-T cert certification
  • To help develop company procedures and documentation so that the company can apply for ISO certification

  • Mechanical background
  • Obtained/Working toward a level 8/7 Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Sales Experience desirable but not essential

Training will be provided where necessary. The successful candidate will be expected to spend time with our installation teams learning how we install our various products to assist the candidate in fulfilling the job spec.

Level 6 Refrigeration Engineers

REL Ltd Carlow (Ireland)

REL has gathered core competencies and extensive experience and are one of the most successful refrigeration, air conditioning and beer cooling companies in Ireland.

REL Ltd are currently seeking two qualified refrigeration engineer, the successful applicants will be fully trained to work on the servicing and maintaining refrigeration equipment (to include post mix drinks, chillers and vending equipment),  and will join our growing team with immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an exciting rapidly expanding company.

They will be responsible for day to day preventative and reactive maintenance, follow up repair and installation works.

                                                            

Minimum requirements:

-Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration
-Full accreditation for refrigeration F Gas Certification
-Full clean drivers licence is essential

As part of the selection process the successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate ability in the competencies below:

-Excellent problem solver and fault finding ability
